O questi qua sono rimasti un po' indietro o sanno cose che noi non sappiamo, in questo articolo infatti si parla di nove film che contengono il tema del viaggio e che dovrebbero uscire nei cinema nel 2009 e ci sarebbe anche 'Fuga da NY' (sembra che rispuntino tutti i vecchi progetti di Gerry )

If there’s one December fixture that I enjoy almost as much as the ubiquitous “Best of the Past Year” list, it’s the “Trends to Watch Next Year” list. What’s new and hot? What’s old but hot again? And what never goes out of style? (Trends to Watch lists, that’s what.)

So, with that in mind, here are nine travel-esque movies hitting theaters in 2009.

Escape From New York: Hey, who doesn’t like another remake? This time around, Gerard Butler plays Snake, the war hero/convict sent into a dystopian Manhattan (now a maximum security prison) to rescue the President, whose plane was brought down over the island by terrorists. Yup, they really didn’t change a thing. Except, presumably, it’s no longer set in the late 1980s.

Fuga da NY: Hey, a chi non piacerebbe un altro remake? Questa volta, Gerard Butler interpreta Snake, l'eroe di guerra/galeotto inviato in un'utopica Manhattan (ora divenuta una prigione di massima sicurezza) a salvare il Presidente, il cui aereoplano è stato fatto atterrare sull'isola dai terroristi. Non hanno cambiato niente. (N.d.T. forse perchè non è stato neppure girato ). Tranne, forse, che non è più ambientato alla fine degli anni '80.

sarò che non sono un'appassionata ammiratrice del personaggio, ma ti prego.. NO!!

Si torna a parlare dei film con Jennifer Aniston... sia quello in cui Gerry sarebbe un cacciatore di taglie sulle tracce della sua ex moglie (Jennifer Aniston appunto), sia del musical anni 40.

The latest movie rumor on Gerard Butler is that we will soon be seeing him in the movie theaters as a bounty hunter.

The character finds out that his next target is his ex-wife (played by Jennifer Aniston) and he had to deal with that drama.


I really thought that Jennifer Aniston was going to give Angelina Jolie a run for her money in an action movie. It seems that Bounty Hunter or whatever they decide to call the upcoming movie will be a comedy. Gerard Butler seems to be able to play a multiple of characters on screen.

I have to wonder is there a thing going on between Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler. Bounty Hunter isn’t the only film that they will be working on together. Margaret Nagle is currently working on a script for 1940’s musical. Will we get to hear Jennifer Aniston sing? Hopefully a movie production company will back up the script with financing.

We all know that Gerard Butler can carry a tune. What can this man not do in the movie theaters? I’m just waiting for him to have a movie where he has to do a song and dance.

I wonder if these two romancing characters in the movie release will become a romancing couple in real life? Oh and if you didn’t know that Gerard Butler could carry a tune pick up the DVD rental of The Phantom of The Opera. Not as good at the Phantom on stage but I think you will enjoy the DVD rental.

Secondo questo articolo pare che Gerry sia andato in India non solo per fare una vacanza, ma anche per esplorare le ambientazioni per il suo prossimo film in cui ci sarebbe anche Tom Cruise, però non viene specificato che film sarebbe.

Gerard’s bringing Cruise to India!

Everyone thought that Hollywood hottie Gerard Butler was in Jaipur with some of his friends to explore its beauty and catch up with ‘good
friend’ Priyanka Chopra at the same time.

However, friendship or sight-seeing were not the only reasons that brought Gerard to India. There was some serious work on his agenda too – that of scouting for locations for his next film, starring another Hollywood hottie – Tom Cruise.

Says a source on condition of anonymity, “Gerard was in Jaipur with some of his production team members on a location hunt for his upcoming project that features Tom Cruise. He really liked the picturesque locales of Jaipur and has said that he’ll soon come back to shoot here.” During his stay in Hotel Shiv Vilas, Gerard keenly observed the shooting of director Ashutosh Gowarikar’s What’s Your Rashee? that stars Priyanka and Hurman Baweja. Adds the source, “Gerard and his crew members also checked out the hotel from top to bottom – to see whether it’d be suitable for them to shoot there. After being sure about everything, he has finalised the venue for the shoot.”

After soaking in the beauty of the desert state, Gerard, who will stay in India for a few more days, will go to Agra, to see the Taj. Will this also be a ‘location hunting’ trip? Watch this space...

proprio ieri guardando mission impossible2 due stavo rivalutando(secondo il mio modesto parere)il fascino di Tom Cruise...tra Gerry e lui non saprei proprio chi scegliere!

Può anche essere che Gerry sia là solo in veste di produttore e che lui nel film non comparirebbe, anche se si era parlato di un altro progetto con Richard Lagravenese.

Accipicchia se la notizia dovesse essere confermata ingaggiare una star del calibro di Cruise (anche se un po' in declino ultimamente ) sarebbe un bel colpaccio per la Evil Twins!!

( pensavo che se Gerry dovesse comparire al fianco di Cruise vista la differenza di altezza tra i due non è che per caso c'è in progetto un remake de "I gemelli " con Schwarzenegger e De Vito ?)
