Swiss watchmaker Roger Dubuis does a reverse commute with a Miami Beach Basel party and sit down dinner hosted by CE Jean-Marc Pontroué and "friend of the brand," actor Gerard Butler at the W South Beach. As for the art part, well, it has something to do with the art of horlogerie, which, although sounds like a fancy synonym for the study some of the clientele hanging out at various hotel bars in town, is French for watchmaking.Says the official spin, "The evening will be a celebration of Art showcasing the amazing Roger Dubuis Excalibur Quatuor, a feat in watchmaking and piece of Haute Hologerie at its finest, alongside the Jeff Koons’ designed Limited Edition Dom Perginon Bottles. The fashionable fête will feature an intimate crowd of A-listers, admitted by invite only. After the dinner, guests will be escorted into a private Dom Perignon themed after-party to keep the evening going."

a quanto ho letto dalle WO, dopo l'evento a cui ha partecipato mercoledì a Miami, Gerry dovrebbe essere in Liberia con un'organizzazione che si occupa dei Paesi poveri


Butler hosted the lavish Roger Dubuis and Dom Perignon dinner Wednesday in Miami Beach, but he said he could not attend any other events around Art Basel as he is planning a charity trip. “It’s been a busy time for me. I am going to Liberia with an organization called Mary’s Meals [which sets up school feeding projects in some of the world’s poorest communities]. We are making a documentary, as we [visit] the schools.”

And yesterday we had a sightning at Heathrow that confirms it...
