http://www.heraldsun.com.au/entertainment/...p-1226862676934FILM star Gerard Butler has taken in an opera spectacular on Sydney Harbour, during a performance of Madama Butterfly. And he was quite happy to take along an entourage of friends, with no less than eight of his own guests.
Butler, who is in Sydney to film Gods Of Egypt, attended the Handa Opera on Sydney Harbour with his friends and was happy to mingle with other guests.
Butler and co. soaked in the atmosphere inside The Platinum Club, which is one of the on-site dining venues for the outdoor opera event, which hosts a crowd of 3000.
The highbrow event was a far cry from some of Butler’s other shenanigans down by the Harbour, including crashing a hen’s party last week.
The actor, who had a box-office hit with his film 300, is preparing to film Gods Of Egypt alongside Oscar-winner Geoffrey Rush.
The film, with a $75 million budget, will be an adventure epic with an ancient historical twist. It is being directed by Australian director Alex Proyas, who worked with Will Smith on I Robot and Kiefer Sutherland on Dark City. Butler will play an ancient Egyptian god in the film.
The Scottish actor, who has been previously linked to Jennifer Aniston, is said to be currently single and leaving a swath of Sydney women swooning in his wake.
He is also the go-to guy for Sydney’s hottest parties, with a number of event organisers spruiking Butler’s “potential” appearance on their list, in the hope that he might actually show up.
For the actor though, the opera was a chance to soak in some of Sydney’s fine arts culture. Madama Butterfly will be performed six times a week by Sydney Harbour until mid-Apr

Cara Gemi credo tu abbia ragione, anche secondo me 12 anni schiavo prenderà l'Oscar, e sono anche sicura che Fass ha buone probabilità di accalappiarselo lui personalmente. Per quanto concerne la Maddy, ha così tanta Fame di Notorietà che sono strasicura di vederla sul Red Carpet quest'anno, a Braccetto della sua nuova fiamma!!!
Scherzi a parte, Dolce Ariel, sono sempre più convinta che gli Faccia davvero bene il nuovo Continente!!! Basta guardare il suo viso per capirlo... Sembra così in beatitudine... Forse ha anche cominciato a fare pace con se stesso... Almeno lo spero!!! Comunque grazie della bella notizia, dato che sicuramente arriveranno altre foto a testimonianza di questo evento... Una Gioia per i nostri occhi
