Consigli per gli uomini che vogliono vestirsi come Gerry ^^
Wear it like Gerard ButlerGerard Butler is one of those rare celebrities who is loved by both men and women alike; women love his ruggedly good looks and sharp fashion sense and men well, they want to be him! Well Mr. Butler certainly has a way with women and I can’t help but wonder if this is related to his dapper style, luckily Littlewoods have got everything you guys need to wear it like the 300 star.
Gerard’s fashion can pretty much be split into two areas; casual and masculine or suited and booted and here’s how to capture both those looks.
Gerard’s causal style is pretty simple to pull off and he tends to wear a classic combo of jeans, tee and leather jacket. The jacket and details like ripped jeans give the outfit a more masculine edge. The jacket is the most important item here and can be a bit of a luxury so if you’re going to splurge; do it properly with this Superdry Brad leather jacket which will add a bit of attitude to any outfit.
For jeans you want something that’s going to be comfortable and have that ‘lived in’ look so these loose fit Joe Browns would be perfect as they are already aged adding some nice detail to the outfit. A simple tee will complete your casual Gerard look and this Firetrap grey tee will look great under your jacket and is better than a long sleeved option with the summer fast approaching too.
For those of you with a special occasion coming up and want to epitomise Mr. Butler’s sharp style then you’ll need a suit! Gerard tends to stick to a simple, single-breasted design in dark colours such as black or dark grey, with a simple white shirt and dark tie underneath.
I love this Taylor & Reece single-breasted suit which also comes in black or dark grey depending on your preference and is slim fit so if you’re lucky enough to be able to pull it off then this is one Gerard would surely approve of! This Goodsouls black jacket is also a brilliant find and will look super smart with the suit trousers or you can dress it down with your favourite jeans.
Next you’ll need a shirt; keep it simple and clean with block colours rather than stripes or patterns. White never looks bad with a suit and you can stock up on a few with this pack of Taylor & Reece long-sleeved shirts or for a bit of colour (and luxury) try this Ted Baker long sleeve shirt in lilac.
To finish off your suited and booted style you will of course need a tie and to keep it modern with a simple block colour, of course it’s up to you and if you fancied a bit of colour then there’s no reason why you couldn’t try the look with a pattern just try and keep the colours dark. Take a look at the tie department for inspiration.
So there we have it guys, he might be a celebrity but that doesn’t mean you’ll find Mr. Butler wandering around in odd catwalk fashion but instead in easy to wear, stylish attire that certainly seems to attract the ladies and can easily be copied at home.
