Io credo che se ne occupi, ma che abbia anche una dog sitter, oppure se ne occupa il/la suo/a assistente di turno.

Mi ricordo che quando era a NY a girare Psily Lolita era con lui sul set e l'assistente la portava a passeggio.

Si...per me è lui!!

Le mani sono troppo enormi però!! Non mi piacciono!!

Jennifer Aniston's new leading man, Gerard Butler, is locked in a nasty pug-of-war with an elderly Queens couple.

The hunky actor claims that he got into a verbal tussle with Fred and Maria Varecka after their "huge, menacing" greyhound, Mayfly, took two chomps out of the neck of his little pug, Lolita, near the set of his and Aniston's flick, "The Bounty," in Long Island City.

But the Vareckas say Butler, 39, viciously barked at them when their dogs' noses touched -- then slammed Mayfly's head against a fence, screaming, "That dog should be put down!"

The dogfight occurred at 4 p.m. Monday on Broadway near 14th Street, as the Vareckas were walking Mayfly and stumbled upon Butler and his wandering, un leashed pooch, the cou ple said.

Mayfly and Lolita touched noses, the Vareckas said, and Butler "went on this rampage, shouting, 'That dog should be put down!' " said Va recka's wife, Maria, 61.

"I said, 'Your dog should be put on a leash.' He kept on going and going, ranting and raving. . . . He was being verbally abusive."

Maria said the two sides split, then Butler "walks back, ranting and raving still and pointing, saying, 'You know what? You know what? This dog should be put down!'

"And he smacked the dog in the head. The dog's head went into the fence. I was shaking. The dog yelped.

"I said, 'Keep your hands off my dog! Why did you hit my dog?' He didn't say a word."

The woman said Butler left, and she and her husband called the cops to file a report. According to the NYPD, there was a complaint against a "Gerrod Butler" but no citations were given.

Butler's camp scoffed at the Vareckas' claims.

"What happened was, Gerry was walking his dog, Lolita, who is this little, small pug, a teeny thing. You can hold her in one arm, she's that small," said his manager, Alan Siegel. "Then, suddenly, this greyhound, this huge, menacing dog, bites Lolita.

"She [Maria Varecka] and Gerry then have words. . . . [Then] the dog again goes over to Lolita and takes another bite."

Siegel said the movie star spent the next four hours at an Upper East Side animal hospital tending to Lolita's wounds.

"They don't have it trained," Siegel said of the Vareckas. "They don't know what they're doing with their dog.

"People are so mean. They're just trying to milk this."

Siegel said Butler is such a dog lover that while at the vet, he shelled out $3,000 to another family he had just met to cover their bills.

Sniped Fred, "I thought a lot of him as an actor," adding that the couple owns two of Butler's flicks, "Phantom of the Opera" and "300."

"And he might still be a good actor. But I don't respect him as a person."

Che stronzi!!! La stanno molto sfruttando a loro vantaggio, però, secondo me, non c'era neppure bisogno che Alan andasse a dire che Gerry ama così tanto i cani che ha dato 3000 $ ad un'altra famiglia perchè potessero pagare le spese del veterinario...

We now have the poop on the Gerard Butler dog attack that occurred Monday afternoon in New York.

Here's the lowdown -- Gerard was walking his female pug Lolita when a woman with a greyhound sauntered by. We're told the greyhound attacked the pug, biting it twice. At the time of the attack, the greyhound was on a leash, but the pug wasn't. Score one for the greyhound.

But here's the deal: Butler quickly put his dog on a leash and began walking away, when the woman followed him -- greyhound in tow -- and the larger dog went in for a 3rd bite. We're told Butler blunted the potential bite by pushing the dog's snout away from his pooch.

The woman went to the cops alleging animal cruelty and we're told they got a good laugh out of it. As for Butler, he spent 3 and a half hours at the vet's office with his pug. The pug is OK.

Sources close to the situation gave us the following statement, "Bitches always seem to get Gerard in trouble."

As if he needs it, the story will only help Butler score more chicks.

UPDATE: TMZ spoke to the owner of the greyhound, who told us she's not after money and she's not going to file a lawsuit. However, she did want to say this about Gerard -- "He's a pompous sonofa bitch."

Queste donne dovrebbero tr....re un po' di + secondo me!!! E tenere i loro levrieri lontanno da Gerry e Loly!

In pratica l'articolo dice che Gerry stava passeggiando con Lolita quando una donna con un levriero gli è passata accanto. E il levriero avrebbe attaccato Lolita, morsicandola due volte. Pare che il levriero fosse al guinzaglio mentre Lolita non lo fosse.
Però Gerry subito dopo ha messo il guinzaglio a Lolita e si è allontanato, ma la donna l'ha seguito e il levriero ha cercato di mordere Lolita per la terza volta. Quindi Gerry ha evitato il terzo morso spingendo via la testa del cane da Lolita.
La donna è quindi andata dalla polizia lamentandosi per la crudeltà sul proprio animale e a quanto pare quelli della polizia si sono fatti una bella risata. Gerry invece, ha passato tre ore e mezza dal veterinario con la piccola Lolita, che ora pare che stia bene.
La donna avrebbe riferito a quelli di TMZ che l'hanno contattata che non sta cercando di spillare soldi a Gerry e non sporgerà denuncia. Però
vuole dire una cosa a proposito di Gerry: "E' un pomposo figlio di p*****a".

Anche io ho un cane che per la sua dolcezza e la sua docilita'(golden retriver) ho dovuto spesso difendere da altri cani...e rimango sempre piu' convinta che le bestie sono i padroni e non viceversa!
