"I don't think I would be alive today, to be honest," Butler tells Piers Morgan. "I was living my life in a very unhealthy way, and I...needed to be stopped."
His mother is now very happy with his career (even if she had initially wanted him to be a lawyer). "She loves it. It gives her a chance to do her performing."
