Il blu-ray (e quindi credo anche il dvd) uscirà in America a Febbraio
Chasing Mavericks starring Gerard Butler and Jonny Weston coming to Blu-ray in FebruaryTwentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment has announced that the surfing drama CHASING MAVERICKS, from directors Michael Apted and Curtis Hanson and starring Gerard Butler, Jonny Weston, Elisabeth Shue, Abigail Spencer and Leven Rambin, will be available on Blu-ray February 26th, 2013.
CHASING MAVERICKS is based on the true story of surfing phenom Jay Moriarity (Jonny Weston). When 15 year-old Jay discovers that the mythic Mavericks surf break, which is one of the biggest waves on Earth, hits just miles from his home in Santa Cruz, he goes to local surf legend Frosty Hesson (Gerard Butler) to help him train to surf the wave and survive.
CHASING MAVERICKS did pretty awful at the box office, bringing in just under $6 million which could be because it had a limited run (it was only shown on 2002 screens) or it could be because audiences aren’t really that into surfing films. Either way it’s considered a bit of a flop, and a film you should pick up at your own risk unless you are a surfer, then you may really enjoy this movie.
